Growth ultrasound
This ultrasound assesses the growth of the baby and the amount of amniotic fluid. A growth ultrasound can be performed between 24 and 36 weeks.
Sometimes the midwife finds it necessary to additionally assess the growth of your child. She will then ask you to make an appointment for a growth ultrasound. During this ultrasound we measure the circumference of the head, abdomen and the length of the bone in the upper leg as accurately as possible. These measurements say something about the growth of your child.
This ultrasound is reimbursed by insurance.
For 3.50 euros, the sonographer will take separate photos and images for you, which you will receive via your phone.
