Ultrasound Center Almere originated from our desire to offer ultrasound scans to pregnant women from all over Almere with personal attention by offering quality and safety in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. We take plenty of time to explain everything thoroughly and are open to your questions. You can come to us throughout your pregnancy for ultrasound scans upon referral and ultrasound scans at your own request. We work with the latest equipment (3D and 4D live) and experienced sonographers for the ultimate ultrasound experience. With more than 3,000 ultrasounds per year, you are guaranteed the highest quality ultrasounds from us.

Fertility ultrasound
During an IVF or fertility process, follicle (egg cell) measurements and/or endometrium (uterine lining) measurements are regularly performed.
Growth ultrasound
This ultrasound assesses the growth of the baby and the amount of amniotic fluid. A growth ultrasound can be performed between 24 and 36 weeks.
Location ultrasound
If the midwife has doubts about the position of the baby, a position ultrasound can be performed. This ultrasound often takes place around 35-36 weeks.
Placental localization
If the 20-week ultrasound shows that the placenta may be lying low, we often want to look at the position of the placenta again around 30-32 weeks to see whether the placenta has moved up nicely.
Ultrasound for vaginal bleeding
If you have vaginal bleeding, always contact your midwife, she will refer you for an ultrasound if she thinks it is necessary.
