Je kunt bij ons terecht van kinderwens tot zwangerschap: voor fertiliteitsecho’s, medische echo’s, pretecho’s én anticonceptiezorg waaronder spiraal en implanon plaatsing. Met moderne 3D/4D-techniek, ervaren echoscopistes en met meer dan 2000 echo’s per jaar garanderen wij aandacht, kwaliteit, veiligheid en een bijzondere echobeleving.

Fertility ultrasound
During an IVF or fertility process, follicle (egg cell) measurements and/or endometrium (uterine lining) measurements are regularly performed.
Growth ultrasound
This ultrasound assesses the growth of the baby and the amount of amniotic fluid. A growth ultrasound can be performed between 24 and 36 weeks.
Location ultrasound
If the midwife has doubts about the position of the baby, a position ultrasound can be performed. This ultrasound often takes place around 35-36 weeks.
Placental localization
If the 20-week ultrasound shows that the placenta may be lying low, we often want to look at the position of the placenta again around 30-32 weeks to see whether the placenta has moved up nicely.
Ultrasound for vaginal bleeding
If you have vaginal bleeding, always contact your midwife, she will refer you for an ultrasound if she thinks it is necessary.
